Teams will not start
Teams refuses to open or closes immediately? These steps bring the client back.

Quick fixes
- Kill all Teams processes in Task Manager and relaunch
- Clear the Teams cache
- Make sure WebView2 is installed
Quick test
Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc and kill all Teams processes. Relaunch the client. This is often enough after sleep or screen lock.
Clear cache (the main fix)
Classic client:

New client:
%localappdata%\Packages\MSTeams_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache
Verify WebView2 runtime
The new Teams client requires the Microsoft Edge WebView2 runtime. Look for it in Apps and Features and install if missing.
