Audio not working in Teams

Quick fixes
- Check the correct audio device in Teams settings
- Reconnect headset or pick it inside the meeting
- Allow Teams microphone access in system settings
Microphone not detected
Check Teams settings under Devices to confirm your microphone is selected. Sometimes Teams picks the wrong default after an update.
No sound from the speakers
Make sure the correct output device is active. A connected monitor with its own speakers can hijack playback.
Echo or feedback
Enable echo cancellation in Teams settings. When possible use a headset rather than separate speakers and microphone.
